The name Calca 82 was derrived from the scientific name for the barramundi ‘Lates Calcarifer’.

The goal was to produce a mid sized, broard body suspending jerkbait aimed squarely at the iconic Australian barramundi. The design and engineering process was meticulous to deliver a tight fast swimming action on heavy leaders commonly used when chasing these powerful pradators. Produced from a high density ABS with full through wire construction ensuring strength and durability in the harshest environments and an internal weight transfer system improving castabilty and maintaining the perfect balance at rest.
